CBDmd CBD Capsules Review
CBD has been a life-changing substance for thousands of people across the world – myself included. I’ve used CBD personally for helping manage anxiety, pain, and depression – but other people have found success treating chronic illness, PTSD, and other more serious problems with it.
It’s quite impressive that one substance can be so useful for such a wide range of conditions. However, just because a substance is known to be fantastic for treating so many things doesn’t mean that it should just be purchased willy-nilly. Oh no.
Different companies provide different qualities of CBD products, and the quality can make a huge difference. Some companies offer full-spectrum extracts for a higher price; others offer non-organic isolated extracts for cheaper.
In this article we’re going to discuss the CBD capsules that you can get from the company CBDmd so you can make an informed decision about whether or not you’d like to buy them.
CBDmd and their CBD Capsules
CBDmd is a company that is founded on being reliable and providing high quality products for their customers.
The company, which has been around for about 3 and a half years, has developed this reputation by providing reliable products to people at an affordable price. One of the products that you can find from CBDmd is their CBD capsules.
CBD capsules are small capsules, usually made from gelatin or some similar compound, that contain some form of extracted CBD. They can come with CBD oil, CBD powder, or any other form of CBD. In the case of CBDmd, they contain their own CBD Oil.
Their CBD oil is made from hemp that is grown locally in the United States. They claim that they are committed to purchasing premium quality CBD – though it’s important that nowhere on their site do they mention whether or not they actually use organic hemp to produce their CBD.
Another point of interest is the fact that CBDmd doesn’t use full-spectrum CBD oils in their products. Full-spectrum extracts are of interest to some people because they allow for the entourage effect to take place.
The entourage effect is basically a fancy term that describes the way that mother nature intended for her medicine to be used. Hemp is a complex plant, and contains a huge number of different terpenes, cannabinoids, and other bioactive compounds. Naturally, one would only be able to consume hemp as a whole plant material – meaning that all these compounds work together to provide the maximum medicinal benefit.
It wasn’t until people began extracting CBD that we were able to use the medicine in its isolated form. Don’t get me wrong – CBD still has tremendous benefits when used on its own. In fact, the majority of the CBD that I’ve used is simply CBD isolate. However, many people prefer to use full-spectrum extracts.
Types of CBD Capsules
Whatever the case, you can be sure that CBDfx capsules would be powerful on their own.
They offer two different sizes of bottles: 30 count and 60 count, containing 30 or 60 CBD capsules respectively. These different bottle counts are then available in several different potencies:
30 count bottles of CBD capsules:
- 450 mg of CBD, broken into 30 capsules (15 mg each)
- 1,000 mg of CBD, broken into 30 capsules (33.3 mg each)
- 1,500 mg of CBD, broken into 30 capsules (50 mg each)
60 count bottles of CBD capsules:
- 1000 mg, broken into 60 capsules (16.6 mg each)
- 1,500 mg of CBD, broken into 60 capsules (25 mg each)
- 3,000 mg of CBD, broken into 60 capsules (50 mg each)
As you can see, CBDmd provides a wide variety of different dosages of their CBD capsules. This is neat, because in my personal experience CBD capsules are generally not dosed strong enough.
I’m a twig-thin dude, and I’m highly sensitive to most compounds – but usually a 20 mg capsules of CBD is just enough for me to feel mild relief. Note that part of this is certainly due to the fact that CBD capsules simply aren’t absorbed as well as other forms of capsules, unless you break them apart first and hold the CBD under your tongue.
This is because huge amounts of CBD are lost in the digestive tract after it has been ingested. The most effective way to use a capsule is to take it sublingually, or under-the-tongue, so you can absorb the stuff directly into your bloodstream.
Doing this will not only allow you to feel the benefits quicker, you’ll be able to save money because you’ll be able to use your capsules at a far slower pace.
Pros & Cons of CBDmd CBD Capsules
There are a number of positive and negative things about CBDmd and the products that they offer. It’s probably a wise idea to address all of these things before you make a final decision about whether or not you’d like to buy from them.
- Their CBD capsules are available in a wide variety of potencies
- They offer very high-potency (50 mg) CBD capsules, which aren’t always easy to find
- They are available at an affordable price
- Capsules are easy to take, and you don’t have to deal with measuring out your dosage with an eyedropper
- It’s easier to know exactly how much CBD you are using when dealing with capsules
- They are made with CBD sourced from locally grown hemp
- They are not made with full-spectrum extracts
- No mention about whether or not the CBD is made from organic hemp
- Can be difficult to break apart capsules to get the full effect of sublingual dosage
- No flavor
CBDmd offers a great variety of different CBD capsules so you can choose a product that has the ideal dose for you.
Unfortunately, their products aren’t made with organic hemp and you won’t be able to enjoy the entourage effect if you choose CBDmd’s capsules.
Regardless, they are available for an affordable price. If you’re looking for a good place to experiment with CBD, CBDmd could be the best bet for you.
